Some of you might be wondering what Generation Next actually means, so let me explain.

The patients of tomorrow and beyond are the children and young teenagers of now. It’s a generation that needs to be nurtured if they’re to be kept in the realm of the ECP. They are the generation of patients that could form a practice’s backbone for the next 30 years.

There are hundreds of thousands of people in their 20s and 30s that have fallen out of the eye care loop in recent years, lured by cheap prices of online retailers and I think a lot of practitioners have written them off in favour of ‘high value’ patients in their 40s and 50s.
