Located in the affluent Cheshire town of Wilmslow, Albert Road Opticians was named Fashion Practice of the Year at the Optician Awards. So what was it the made the practice stand out?

‘What differentiates us from other practices is our highly developed sales process,’ says owner Deepak Oberai. ‘At Albert Road, the end in mind is to make the client feel good in stylish eyewear. Therefore, rather than the client starting to try and pick a pair for themselves from what might be a confusing array of eyewear, we begin with an in-depth conversation about what clients like, feel and do – a styling consultation.’
