Tokai provides a diverse selection of sun lenses, from solid and graduated tints to polarised – all with varying levels of absorption.

The company’s product range includes over 30 different tint options and 14 polarised colours that are said to offer patients UV protection and comfortable vision.

Tokai notes that all tints are accessible in all lens designs and refractive indices, including 1.76 index, which can be fully tinted up to 85% absorption.

Also, Tokai’s exclusive Lutina material, which is capable of absorbing 94% of high-energy UV (up to 420nm), is said to ensure optimal sun protection for patients.

Tokai Polar lenses are designed for those situations where reflected light risks compromising the visual quality of outdoor moments. Said to be glare beating, these lenses are available in 1.60 and 1.50 indices, across both single vision and progressive designs.
