Awards 2016: Going out on a high

When husband and wife team Clare and Keith Holland started up 26 years ago their goal was to assess the vision of local children whose learning and reading was not progressing as expected. They succeeded by developing a culture for paediatric eye care where parents and grandparents can have their optometric needs seen to at the same time as their children.

Optician Awards judges commented: ‘The winning application provided evidence of delivering a community eye care service that reaches out to all generations, including a domiciliary service.
