Business: Quietly does it

Bondeye’s 20th anniversary earlier in 2022 was marked with a low key staff party at its new headquarters in Honiley, Warwickshire. Customers, who the company credit for much of its growth over the past two decades, were treated to vouchers and gifts of paddleboards and weekends away.

Bondeye Accessories, as it was known then, began by stocking regular practice consumables, such as replacement nose pads and screws. Sales director Dave Walker has been with the company almost since day one. ‘I was asked to come on board for a new project that Lou [Louise Keeney, Bondeye managing director] was setting up. I’ve run the sales since then and Lou has run the purchasing accounts and everything else that goes into running a business. We’ve built it up from zero, essentially,’ he says.
