Conductive keratoplasty for plano presbyopes

Prior to treatment, corneal thickness was measured peripherally with both ultrasound and Orbscan pachymetry. The patient is right-handed and right eye dominant and had a pupil size of 5mm in both eyes. Left eye conductive keratoplasty (CK) was performed without any complications involving the placing of two rings of eight spots to the left cornea

One day

After the contact lens was removed, the patient reported blurred vision at distance in the treated eye. However, binocular-unaided vision was 6/6 and he read N8 at 30cm without problems, which improved to N5 at a closer working distance. A little discomfort was reported once the lens was removed.
