Her presenting refractive status was as shown in Table 1. The results of a cycloplegic refraction (tropicamide 1 per cent) are shown in Table 2.
Prior to treatment, corneal thickness was measured peripherally with both ultrasound and Orbscan pachymetry (Figure 1).
The patient was right-handed and right eye dominant, with a pupil size of 6.6mm in both eyes. Examination of the corneas revealed no problems, with the Lasik flaps healed securely.
