A new player in the UK contact lens market and news of a long-awaited daily disposable were among the developments attracting interest at the capital’s new optical exhibition, Optrafair London.
The absence of some contact lens companies worked in favour of those taking stands, who reported healthy attendance levels and an audience they might not expect to see at other events. With many of the major instrument companies exhibiting and a comprehensive CET programme, the climate was right for discussing clinical benefits as well as doing business.
London proved to be a particularly appropriate location for highlighting the latest developments in the daily disposable sector, as CooperVision’s UK & Ireland professional relations manager, Karl Aberdeen, pointed out.
