Elaine Styles takes on Olympic torch relay

It was a day to remember for optometrist Elaine Styles after participating in the torch relay and sharing a bus ride with Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.

Styles, chair of Vision Care for Homeless People, took the opportunity for a photograph with the stars of TV comedy Absolutely Fabulous, after walking the torch through Camden.

She said: 'It was a very surreal day. I was awake early as I was too excited and nervous to sleep. I was called at 7.20am by Sky Sports News radio to talk to me about being a Games Maker and about the Torch Relay.
