I will use various case histories of patients ranging from two year olds to someone in their 70s.

Case history 1

Corneal foreign body:

A two-year-old girl was brought in by mum thinking that she had scratched her eye and she seemed to be rubbing her eyes. On questioning it appeared that they were at a beach five days previously and playing in the sand.
