Kamlesh Chauhan tells Andrew McClean why reiterating the importance of eye exams during the pandemic is important

A disconnect between the value patients place on the importance of eye health and how they prioritise it as part of their overall healthcare routine has been highlighted by Johnson & Johnson Vision.

The contact lens company surveyed 1,002 British adults in August in order to better understand how the UK viewed eye health as part of its Prioritize Your Eyes campaign, which encourages people to have an eye exam.

Kamlesh Chauhan, director of professional education and development for Northern Europe at Johnson & Johnson Vision, told Optician there are varying attitudes towards eye health specific to different regions, generations and genders.
