
A survey has found that 86% of UK adults believe that eye exams are important for their overall health but only 34% are having one at least once a year.
Johnson & Johnson Vision revealed the findings ahead of World Sight Day on October 8 to highlight the importance of eye health and attitudes towards it in the UK.
It also found that 70% of Brits recognised that healthy vision improves their overall quality of life and 67% acknowledged that it helps to prevent vision problems.
However, 34% said they get an eye exam each year and 55% believed that they do enough to protect their eyes.
