Dan Sanders, optometrist and director at Perspective Opticians, recounted his feelings as the winner was announced at the Optician Awards event at the Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
'As Perspective is a relatively young practice, we thought we had a better chance in the Fashion Frames category. So the whole team was quite disappointed when the results for that were announced. When I heard our name announced as the winners of the Independent Practice of the Year I couldn't believe it - it felt like winning the Lottery!'
