Johnson & Johnson Vision launches worldwide campaign

Johnson & Johnson Vision launched a worldwide campaign called Spotlight Sight to coincide with last week’s World Sight Day (October 11).

The company shined a spotlight directly into the sky from its headquarters in both Florida and California, USA and will also be providing more than 100,000 eye exams for children around the world.

It increased awareness for global eye health by encouraging members of the public to donate to the charities Lions Club International, Sight for Kids and the Himalayan Cataract Project, and share photos on social media with the hashtag #spotlightforsight

This campaign has followed a global call to action by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, the co-ordinators of World Sight Day.
