Johnson & Johnson Vision Care has launched a new consumer advertising campaign to promote the importance of having regular eye examinations and drive new customers to visit practitioners.

Described by J&J as one of the largest of its kind in raising awareness of eye health to consumers, the campaign features outdoor posters and escalator panels on the London Underground as well as a huge online presence reaching millions of people via consumer and optical websites. There will be print advertising and point-of-sale materials encouraging consumers to think of their eye health.

J&J is Official Vision Care Product Partner of the Beijing Olympic Games and the advertising uses images of elite athletes it is working with to spread the message that to reach your potential and 'Be the best you can' be you need perfect eye health and great vision. Some of the posters also feature the 1 Day Acuvue Moist lenses, encouraging people to go in store and ask about contact lenses.
