I recently met up with Roshni Samra, professional clinic manager at Fight for Sight Optometry Clinic City University, who showed me around the new Topcon University (TU) supported facility at the Bath Street site.

I was immediately impressed by the range of instrumentation now available to the clinic in which I spent so many years supervising.

‘I was aware that we had some space that could be better used,’ says Samra, ‘so when the opportunity to link up with TU came along I was very keen to grab it.’

The TU suite includes the Maestro OCT, Aladdin biometry and topography system, a combined autorefractor/tonometer which includes pachymetry adaptation, and links to a large plasma screen which also runs the Captiv8 educational software.
