Manbir Nagra: Could you tell us about your journey into this field? 

Tony Burke: I started my optometric career with a fantastic team in Gloucestershire Hospitals. It is a large ophthalmology department where there’s a very productive and supportive integration between all ophthalmic specialties.  

It has a national track record of creating, developing and implementing prestigious ophthalmic systems, pathways and services.  

While at Gloucestershire Hospitals, in 2017, OphthalSuite by Blueworks was adopted. It is an agnostic software to connect all ophthalmic imaging devices into one display platform, consolidating data in one place.
