One of the unique selling points of the hospital is that all aspects of ophthalmic care, from comprehensive diagnostic equipment to state-of-the-art surgical theatre facilities, are all found in one location.

Optegra Surrey Eye Hospital was the first hospital opened within the group, in 2008, and is based in Guildford. Optegra rapidly expanded and now has sites in various locations in the UK - Yorkshire Eye Hospital, Birmingham Eye Hospital, Optegra Solent and Manchester Eye Hospitals, with further expansion planned in the UK, mainland Europe and Asia. Internationally, Optegra also has a German private ophthalmic practice with a network of five clinics.
