This year's College of Optometrists conference boasted the most wide-ranging education programme yet. Bill Harvey reports
Eye care professionals from around the UK gathered in Liverpool recently to attend the annual get together of the College of Optometrists. The usual combination of social event, education and annual general meeting was all in place but with an even more expanded programme this year, including a very comprehensive research symposium and a new strand of seminars and workshops aimed at the newly qualified. In total there were five separate strands of education running over each of the two days.
