
There are several companies out there that will advise on how to get an optical practice running more efficiently and eventually make more money, but the overall approach is to apply an ‘all things to all men’ way of thinking.
Optical Success Academy (OSA) takes a different tack. Its founder, Conor Heaney works towards increasing practice revenue by getting academy members focusing on being different from the competition.
The optometrist and director of Jones and Co Styling Opticians in Manchester established the OSA in 2014 as a business coaching firm, where he would mentor clients using the experience gathered from running his own practice. Since then, OSA has expanded into conferences which include coaching from Heaney and his staff, keynote speakers and, new for the Liverpool event, expert-led roundtables.
