Long-standing heritage in the eyewear industry is a rare commodity, but Italian eyewear manufacturer Safilo has it in abundance. All of this expertise and knowledge has been invested into its new Safilo collection, which embodies all of what the company stands for.

Before you can fully understand what Safilo represents today, you have to know its past. The Safilo name was created 80 years ago in 1934 in Pieve di Cadore by Guglielmo Tabacchi after the acquisition of a small frame and lens manufacturing plant. Its passion for creativity can be traced right to its inception, as amidst the stuttering economy of the time, the company had already set its sights on expansion – and Hollywood.
