Among the most common but critical services provided by dispensing opticians and optometrists is frame repair. Here is one we performed recently that made use of an unconventional technique, but succeeded in fixing the frame.

A 43-year-old female patient returned to our clinic three weeks after being dispensed a pair of plastic frames. The day before, she dropped the frames causing the left superior rim to break in two (Figure 1).
