Almost every practice has things they could improve to make it a better experience. You name it, I've seen it. Dusty frames, tattered furniture, fading yellow signs Sellotaped to windows. Receptions that are too cold, too hot, too quiet or too noisy.
I once went to a practice that was frankly disgusting. The carpet was badly stained, the desks were taped together, there was a dead plant in the window, and the post was piling up in one corner where the postman had dumped it a few hours' previously. That practice owner's biggest problem was retention. He genuinely couldn't work out why clients stopped coming in.
