After the falls we reported in June and July, the positive signs we started to see last month are continuing, with most key performance indicators improving. However, as was the case last month, the benchmarks for September failed to meet those recorded in the same month last year. When we compare the third-quarter results for this year with those of 2011 we see that fewer eye examinations have been carried out and the financial performance has not matched up either, even though the sales volume of spectacles has held up quite well.
