Attracting 40 per cent more visitors than last year's event in Brighton, the Association of British Dispensing Opticians annual conference and exhibition took place last weekend in Bristol.
The event was heralded a great success by organisers and a total of 550 delegates attended the day of CET and exhibition on the Sunday with 179 practitioners registering for CET points.
These were gained by attendance at any of the lectures or workshops of which four strands ran throughout the day. The gala dinner was completely sold out this year with 356 attendees and included an address by outgoing president Barry Duncan.
