The Association of British Dispensing Opticians is inviting all practitioners to its annual national CET weekend and dispensing show in Harrogate next month with special rates for students.
A CET approved lecture programme begins on Saturday September 15 with sessions on a range of subjects from sports dispensing, contact lens care products and children's vision to the ageing eye, low vision and managing age-related macular degeneration.
At Saturday afternoon's AGM, ABDO president Kevin Milsom will present the annual report for 2006 highlighting the association's achievements while a record 10 candidates will learn who has been selected for the three vacant positions on the ABDO board.
