Aces to rollout services across England

Ophthalmology care provider Anglia Community Eye Services (Aces) has received approval to begin treating NHS patients in new locations across England.

Aces, which has a partnership with Optical Express, said it would recruit optometrists to work in multi-disciplinary teams at its treatment centres.

Michelle Fazzini, commercial director at Aces, said: ‘We’re delighted to be working with Integrated Care Boards across the country, as part of our ambition to meet every patient’s needs.

'This new partnership means optometrists throughout England will be able to help patients get the care they need more quickly by referring them to Aces.’

Aces also partnered with optical practices in primary care to ensure patients were co-managed after receiving any treatment in a local and familiar environment with their usual optometrist.
