Adil Mehboob-Khan to leave co-CEO role at Luxottica

Luxottica Group has agreed a €7m (£5.3m) payout for outgoing executive and former hair industry boss Adil Mehboob-Khan.

The total amount was in line with an agreement between Khan and the company when he joined in January last year. He was leaving the roles as CEO for markets and board member ‘after a productive year at the side of Massimo Vian [co-CEO]’, added a company statement this week.

Khan agreed to end his employment with Luxottica as of February 29.

Following his departure, Luxoticca founder and chairman Leonardo Del Vecchio will assume the executive responsibilities for markets, while Massimo Vian will continue in his role as CEO for product and operations.
