Last week’s final Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) in Manchester were interrupted by an unexpected fire alarm at the General Medical Council offices.
Examiners for the College of Optometrists continued from where they left off following the one hour delay after firemen had ruled out any danger.
Each of the optometry students completed their practical tasks at a series of stations before the session closed.
