Alcon hosts conference on the net

The event, which took place at its Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire offices on April 4, was claimed to be a first for an ophthalmic and pan-European cyberconference. Speakers delivered presentations on Alcon's new treatment for glaucoma, Azopt, which were shown simultaneously via the internet at seven sites in the UK and seven other sites in Europe: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Holland, Norway and Sweden.
