Alcon UK franchise head elected

Alcon has elected Jason Klomp as vision care country franchise head for UK & Ireland after over 14 years in the business. 

Since joining Alcon in 2008, Klomp has held roles in finance, pricing, and sales in the United States, as well as a European finance role based in Geneva. Since 2020, he has been the country franchise head of Benelux. 

Klomp said: ‘After many years within Alcon, I am honored to join the UK & Ireland team who are passionate about helping their customers succeed with contact lens conversion and retention by leveraging Alcon’s innovative technology. 

‘As I move into this role, I am especially grateful to see the team’s reaction to our customer feedback through third-party surveys with the expansion of our Professional education offerings. I am delighted to get out in the field to hear feedback myself in the coming months as I go on co-travels.’
