There are to be a number of high profile staff changes in the university optometry departments.

There are to be a number of high profile staff changes in the university optometry departments.

Professor James Wolffsohn is moving to a position as deputy dean in the School of Health Sciences at Aston University where his position as head of the optometry department will be taken by Dr Frank Eperjesi.

In further moves, Dr Philip Morgan will assume departmental responsibilities from Professor Chris Dickinson at Manchester University, and Dr Kathryn Saunders will take over from Professor Roger Anderson at Ulster University.

Meanwhile, former head of the optometry department at London's City University, Professor David Thomson, is to take up a position as associate dean in health science with responsibility for radiography, language and communication science as well as optometry.
