Rodenstock-owned Allders Opticians has invested in the new Volk Pictor Plus retinal imaging device throughout all its practices.

The independent chain has a current portfolio of 11 branches in the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire areas.

Allders Opticians managing director Ian Harrison said: ‘The latest investment has meant we are able to fulfil our patient commitment to offer the very best in eyecare.

‘The Volk Pictor Plus devices allow our patients to receive the highest quality eye examinations, carried out by a team committed to helping patients with all aspects of eye care.

Tim Baker, CEO of distributor BIB Ophthalmic Instruments said the move added real testimony to the retinal imaging device.
