Annual prize giving at City University

An annual prize giving took place at City University last week.

In the year that saw all optometry clinics incorporated into the main university buildings, the event recognised optometry students alongside those of other allied health professions, such as nursing, speech therapy and audiology.

This year’s Optician prize for the Best Final Year Dissertation went to Luqmaan Hafiz (pictured right) who was congratulated by Optician clinical editor Bill Harvey (also pictured).
