AOP calls for council applicants

Eye care professionals have been invited to apply for six council positions by the Association of Optometrists (AOP) where they could participate in shaping policy and enhancing member services.  

The AOP sought a newly qualified optometrist, a franchisee and joint venture partner, an academic optometrist, an undergraduate student, a domiciliary care optometrist, and a pre-reg optometrist.  

Emma Spofforth, AOP chair, said: ‘Taking on the role of a councillor is a highly rewarding experience that allows you to combine your expertise and understanding of practical delivery in an optical setting to drive progress for the profession.’
