AOP farewell

 Around 100 people attended the AOP's annual dinner in Cardiff last week, which acted as a farewell to former chief executive Ian Hunter.

He was presented the Gold Medal of the AOP by Jane Yeo, wife of past chairman Peter Yeo.

Lynn Hansford, appointed AOP chairman for a third consecutive year, spoke of the progress made in Welsh eye care.
'The eyes of the UK have turned to Wales to see what can be done,' she said.
