AOP recognises former chief executive

Former chief executive of the Association of Optometrists (AOP), Henrietta Alderman, was presented with the Peter Yeo Medal for her contribution to the professional body.

Alderman said helping to shape the direction of the AOP was a deeply rewarding experience and added she was proud to have been able to make a difference.

‘It was a great privilege to work with the AOP’s Board, Council and staff as well as bodies within the sector to deliver change and an outstanding level of support for members,’ Alderman commented.

The Peter Yeo Medal was given in honour of Peter Yeo, a past chair of the AOP, and was the highest accolade awarded by the AOP.
