The Association of Optometrists (AOP) has launched its annual Voice of Optometry questionnaire, which surveys the profession for its views and experiences.
Participants will be asked about topics such as vision standards for driving and children’s eye health, with results used by the AOP in its public-facing eye health campaigns.
Those who complete the survey will be asked to choose a charity – Fight for Sight, Vision Aid Overseas or the AOP’s Optical Benevolent Fund – that the AOP will donate to.
Henrietta Alderman, chief executive of the AOP, said: ‘The AOP is delighted to be introducing a charity donation as a thank you to members for taking part – an initiative based on member feedback.’
