Optometry students from across the country attended the annual AOP student conference in Warwick last week to gain insight into their future profession.
This year, the two-day event included a third year education program, in addition to the usual clinical and career advice aimed at first and second year students.
Lectures included a presentation on the ‘top 10 communication tips for exceptional optometrists’, delivered by optometrist and comedian Sarah Morgan.
The event also included a drinks reception and gala dinner, where Manchester University was awarded this year’s AOP Film and Television Award (AFTA).
