The Association of Optometrists is carrying out a survey of members' attitudes to the organisation.
As well as rating the AOP on how well it advises the individual member concerned, the questionnaire also poses questions on a wider basis, related to the overall optical sector.
These may be seen as particularly relevant following the Association's work with ABDO and FODO over the past few months regarding government proposals on GOS.
Questions include: 'How successfully do you think the AOP represents the profession as a whole?' and 'How well do you think the AOP
understands the issues facing practitioners?'
Members are asked when they last had personal contact with the Association and are also requested to give an overall rating of the AOP.
