Appearance and sports among priorities for contact lens wearers

These were among the findings of major new research into the perceived advantages of contact lenses over spectacles and their discussion in practice.

Supported by contact lens manufacturer CooperVision and conducted for Optician by Reed Business Insight from March to April 2015, the Transforming Lives Research questioned 229 practitioners and 571 consumers about their attitudes to contact lens and spectacle wear. Consumers either wore or had worn contact lenses.
