Are you shortlisted for the Optician Awards?

Shortlists for the 2006 Optician Awards have been drawn up in readiness for the presentation ceremony to be held in London next month.

The final tally of entries to this year's competition was double that in 2005 making the judges' job harder than ever. The quality of those entries also improved raising the bar even further on the standard needed to win a place on one of our shortlists.

In all, 37 finalists were selected in nine of the 10 categories. The shortlist in the Contribution to CET Awards sponsored by Dollond & Aitchison will be announced in next week's Optician.

The winners of the 10 Awards will be revealed at a black tie dinner to be held at the Radisson Hotel Portman Square near Marble Arch in front of 400 guests on April 25.
