A group of six cyclists from the optical profession have completed a charity ride around Armstrong and North Opticians' seven West Country practices. Their route began in Monmouthshire and stopped at the Lydney, Stroud, Tetbury, Dursley and Berkeley practices, before finishing at Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset.
They raised more than £5,000 from the 120-mile trip, which took two days and was described as gruelling. Funds were donated to Vision Aid Overseas and local charity Star Light.
The team included, from left to right, Jackie Cleverley and Tanya Brannigan from Armstrong and North, Paul Maxwell of Hoya, Gareth Armstrong of Armstrong and North, Matt Dorling of Transitions and Paul Jones of Hoya.
