Guardian's University Guide 2022 ranked Aston second among health professions

Aston University has been ranked second in the UK for health professions courses, which includes its BSc (hons) optometry and four-year MOptom optometry courses, in the 2023 edition of The Guardian University Guide.

The guide ranks universities according to several factors, including teaching excellence, student satisfaction and career prospects. Overall, the university was ranked 23rd.

Aston University vice-chancellor professor Aleks Subic said: ‘Aston University’s year-on-year improvements in The Guardian University Guide reflects the high-quality teaching and learning being conducted here, across our three colleges.

‘Our overall ranking for career prospects highlights how Aston University is committed to developing graduates who excel in the workplace – something that prospective students and employers value highly.’
