Attention all cat lovers

Optometrist Andrew Gasson and his sister Rosemary have written a guide to cat food entitled The Good Cat Food Guide, published by Ebury Press.

Illustrated by Southampton-based optometrist Kevin Oxlade, the guide includes 80 detailed reports about what you should be feeding your cat from tins and sachets of meaty chunks, chicken and rabbit to dried biscuits.

The panel of experts comprises a team of ‘inspector’ cartoon cats from chief inspector Waldo and cybercat Arnie to travel expert Jack and bird-watching Poppy.

After carefully completing each food report, the team present The Good Cat Food Guide Award before arriving at The Golden Whiskers Award for the Best UK Cat Food.
