Avery takes up new CL role

Contact lens manufacturer UltraVision has appointed Graham Avery as its new sales director.

Avery joins UltraVision with more than 30 years of experience of the contact lens industry, during which time he has managed his own business and held the position of marketing director at David Thomas Contact Lenses. Most recently, he was global export manager of Menicon. UltraVision said he had a track record of success and had introduced speciality contact lens designs in both the domestic and export markets.

'This is an exciting time to be joining UltraVision, with both KeraSoft IC and a stream of new products under development,' said Avery. 'I look forward to helping take the company to the next level and making it the company of choice for all lenses for all patients outside of the disposable lens range.'
