Awesome Eyewear has launched two new ranges of its magnetic clip-on eyewear, two years after the brand was first launched in the UK.
Series 4 is a range of titanium frames with front-mounting magnetic clip-ons. The polycarbonate sun clips come in either brown or smoke and have an AR coating on the rear surface, but the main development is that the sun clip folds in half, making it easier to carry when not in use. Five colours are available including shiny brown, gun metal and black.
Series RM is a selection of rimless titanium frames with minimalist mounts.
Head of sales Jonathan van Blerk told optician that the company planned to open a UK store for the Awesome brand above its office on Praed Street, Paddington, London.
It is also moving into South American and East European markets.
