Bar raised with new events

Manchester and London will host a new educational road show from The Vision Care Institute on March 28 and 29 respectively.

The Raising the Bar interactive lectures will feature speakers from around the world and cover a series of topics ranging from the latest on damage from ultraviolet rays, to current thinking on myopia control, contact lens materials and how contact lens solutions interact with the eye.

Special guest speaker professor Minas Coroneo, chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology, University of New South Wales and Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney, Australia, will detail his UV ocular photographic techniques that enable UV damage to be visualised years before it becomes detectable using existing technologies.
