Josie Barlow (right) was 'stunned, overwhelmed and humbled' to win the Association of Optometrists' Supplier of the Year Award.
It was announced that Barlow, who is clinical services adviser for UltraVision, won more than 50 per cent of votes for the award.
Jane Smellie from Jane Smellie Opticians, Shropshire, said: 'Josie has been key to the development of my business and the specialist services we provide. In the last 12 years she has supported me through the fitting of many challenging patients.
'Her constant encouragement, support and incredible knowledge has been invaluable in building my confidence and my reputation as a specialist contact lens fitter.'
