Bausch+Lomb has launched its What Women Want Initiative to uncover women’s decisions on contact lenses for the benefit of eyecare professionals.
The research was intended to help eyecare professionals to understand their female patients and help them improve their customers’ experience with contact lenses, as 64% of women wear them and 60% say that contact lenses are important in their day to day lives.
The findings showed that women aged between 28-60 tend to make more emotional decisions regarding their use of contact lenses rather than practical ones, with lifestyle changes having an impact on whether they continued to wear them or not.
